Company Policy
1. How we take on work
Every engagement starts with a written scope: what we will build or test, what it costs, and when you get it. Nothing begins before you have that in writing and have agreed to it.We say no to work we cannot do well. If a request sits outside what we are good at, we tell you so and, where we can, point you somewhere better.
2. Keeping your information private
Anything you share with us about your systems, your customers or your business stays between us. We do not discuss a client's work with another client, and we do not use your name as a reference without asking first.Security testing shows us things you would not publish. Findings belong to you: we report them to you and to nobody else.
3. Handling your data
We ask for the least we need to do the job, keep it only while the work needs it, and remove it afterwards. How we handle personal data in detail is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Who does the work
Your work is done by our own team. If a job needs a specialist we do not have in house, we tell you before we bring anyone in, and that person is held to the same confidentiality terms we are.We never move your data or your access credentials to a third party without your written agreement.
5. Quality and handover
What we build is documented well enough that another developer can pick it up: readable code, the build and deploy steps written down, and the accounts and keys handed to you.You are not locked in. The work is yours, on your own infrastructure, and you can take it elsewhere at any time.
6. Raising a concern
If something we did falls short, tell us and we will put it right. Write to hello@techjork.com and a person reads it, usually within one business day.
